Academic Onboarding
Weekly teaching schedule?
At the start of their contract term, each teacher is assigned a fixed teaching schedule for the academic year. Classes are held Monday to Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Additionally, each teacher is guaranteed between 12 and 18 teaching hours per week, along with two scheduled days off each week

Orientation and training upon arrival?
4 - 7 days Orientation and training prior to teaching
New teachers will undergo orientation in their first week, covering academic training, classroom observations, and HR training. The duration varies based on ESL experience and training needs.
Orientation will include:

Academic training regarding teaching methodology, curriculum, lesson planning, student objectives, etc.

Department meetings to familiarize yourself with the company culture, classroom set-up, and co-workers

Class observations

HR support with paperwork and Teacher Care support with banking, health insurance, and any other personal needs
